PostHeaderIcon Black Electric Guitar – How To Choose The Right Electric Guitar

choosing electric guitar2 Black Electric Guitar How To Choose The Right Electric GuitarGetting a black electric guitar will be great but it is surprisingly to know that there are many common mistakes made by beginners or first time buyers in buying black electric guitars and what they should ask themselve before committing to order. It is so sad to say that most beginners either end up buying the wrong guitars or learn guitar playing the wrong way and they never set to reach their maximum potential or give it up eventually.

Black electric guitars are gaining higher popularity with increasing guitar roadshows and more people are taking up as hobbies. For these obvious reasons, there are also many retailers selling black electric guitars. Electric guitar newbies are just simply overwhelmed with too much information or worse still prone to commit mistakes due to some mis-information sources or poor advices by sales man who just hoping for higher sales.

Before you ask yourself how to choose the right electric guitar, you should first ask yourself what are the types of music that are appealing to you, how much budget do you wish to put in as well as to what level you want to achieve, be it amateur or professional. Before pointing out the common mistakes in buying guitars, we need to know exactly the main differences between electric guitars and acoustic guitars.

The top difference between an electric guitar and acoustic guitar is that electric guitar can co-work with an amplifier to make its sound louder. It need not need to have sound holes to produce the guitar sound. Acoustic guitar on the other hand does not require the use of an amplifier and still be heard by others. Acoustic guitars have sound holes to make that acoustical sound. For some electric guitars with semi-hollow bodies, they can be pretty flexible to allow users to play unplugged or on amplifier.

Knowing that black electric guitars pose a unique kind of elegance that worth the second look, the black color does not affect the sound quality in any case.

Now, we discuss the top five mistakes that people make in buying black electric guitar sets.

1. Beginners may be often told to start on acoustic guitar first due to the fact that they cheaper and they do not require to buy any amplifier. This best intention is often lead to wrong purchases later on. Especially to those novices who are trying to master playing guitars faster, their fingers can be quite painful after long hours of practice. Fingers are the most sensitive body parts and people always like to touch things out. Once an enthusiastic beginner’s finger tips are swollen, pain or even bleeding, it will definitely crash his or her confidence to move on. If the beginner choses to start with an acoustic guitar,he or she will need to exert more finger strength as the strings are much more tough to fret properly. The strings of standard acoustic guitars have higher tension. A better idea is to choose an electric guitar and play it unplugged without the amplifier first. In this way, the beginner can learn to play electric guitar comfortably and
quickly with lesser physical strains on their fingers. Once the beginner picks up the basic skill, he or she can further extend to use the electric guitar with the amplifier on.

2. Is it a safer way to learn guitar playing by getting the most expensive guitar? This may not be true because it is quite often that such pitching is just merely a sale tactics by the retailers. The higher they can sell to you, the better their payout they can get from their employers. It may be always the case especially both the parents and the younger kids are not smart enough to differentiate what are the best guitars. By just merely judging from the price tags or its stylish appearance, it is still not good enough to even commit acquiring at the first place.

3. If you have some budgets set aside, do not also just simply find the cheapest guitar to start with. A so-so guitar will not have quality tunes and the sound quality may often quite bad even if one is trying very hard to execute the standard instructions in playing guitar. This may lead to the wrong belief that the guitar itself is nothing wrong and the strumming method used could be wrong. In many cases, a poor quality guitar will not sound good even if one plays it correctly and well. On the contrary, one can be feel more committed to perfect the skill well with a reasonable money invested in it.

4. It may not be a good thing to follow and own the same guitar that is used by the famous guitarist. People are always different in terms of beliefs and playing styles. A good suggestion is to get a suitable guitar and to master it with commitment. Once you pass the basic level, you can confidently get the same guitar as your idol does. A guitar is just a piece of musical instrument and it will never work well without putting your heart and soul to perfect the playing. Playing a guitar is mostly about what you know in your head and not totally what type of guitar you have.

5. Some other common mistakes can be selecting the incorrect type of strings or selecting the wrong guitar size. It is usually good to start with a nylon string based guitar as it is the most comfortable on the fingers. This is good for both electric guitars as well as for acoustic guitars. For those with smaller hands,it may be quite difficult for them to play with a bigger neck of a classical guitar due to its reach. In this case, a 1/2 or 3/4 size may be more appropriate.

By doing the above mistakes, you can at least have a better idea in how to choose the right electric guitar or other types of guitars.

Testimonials
Lester Helaire, New Orleans, La. This Epiphone Electric Guitar was ready out of the box. Fit and finish of this Epiphone Standard was excellent. Plays like a much more expensive black electric guitar. I won't insult your intelligence, by saying it sounds, or plays like a Gibson. But for the money, it's a no brainer. It has that true Les Paul feel. If mine was damaged or stolen, I'd definitey buy another. I've been playing for about 30 years, and I've had my share of axes. For the money this is a solid.

Erin
Epiphone Sunburst : Totally great , not so heavy as most guitars ,but definitely a good buy. Not cheaply made, colors are very magnificent inperson , the old fashion cool guitar look ,with more modern quality. Definitely must have for people who have experience playing , or want to learn , great starter and a keeper.

Alex Vox, Winnetka, IL This Ibanez Electric Guitar has only one fault: it is very hard to move from it to something else especially considering its price. It is really quality instrument, well designed and very nice sounding. It is very strongly build, with quality finish and a die hard. The neck is awesome, the tuners are nice. Great guitar! As everyone who plays guitar I suffer from a desire to buy another one, but it is very hard to find a guitar that is even 5 times the price that feels as great jazz box as this. Partners
