This is a beautifully crafted and nice sounding guitar. The cord that comes with it was too "buzzy", so I replaced it - other than that, this is a guitar that is easy to play and great to learn on. The bridge is the best in the industry, the finish is mirror (especially on the black model), and the sound is truly awesome. The amplifier that comes with it is not a Fender amp, but is suitable for practice and small halls. Epiphone gets an A++ from me.

| I bought this guitar last week and it's awesome. the amp is quite small but extremely loud and the tuner is really accurate. I reccomend this guitar to all professionals and well as beginners. |

| I got this guitar for a gift and it came in the wrong color. Other than that the guitar is great. I absolutly love the guitar. Its a great beginner, but unless you want it wrecked I would keep it in its case at all times. It looks EXACTLY like the original Gibson Les Paul, however this is like its younger brother. I think its a great guitar. |

| I have to say, I bought this same guitar(just the guitar) at guitar center a while ago for $150. I play professional gigs for guitar and bass and i'm defiantly not a beggineer, but I needed a guitar because i had been playing my brother's Strat(NOT A SQUIRE,NEVER GET A SQUIRE)for most of the gigs, so with money i had left over from the gigs i thought this guitar sounded good,feels good, and for the price-is good. Its not anything near a real epiphone LP, and defiantly not a real GIBSON les paul. Also buy new strings for it too, because in warehouses and after heat gets to it, the strings are very fragile- I recomened Ernie Ball Strings, they're only $3.95. |

| I recently got my guitar a few weeks ago. The guitar is a great deal and it has a surprisingly nice sound to it. The Pickups are ok. The Amp is ok. The guitar it self is well built for not having a solid neck and I have no buzzing a big +++ and it looks great. The only problem I have had is with the strings, they broke the first day. I suggest if you are thinking about buying this bad-boy you order new strings with it. I got some Zakk Wylde 10's and it sounds real nice!!!!! |

| I bought this guitar a week ago and it's a really nice one. The Amp, although small, is great and alone can produce many different distortions, sounds and tones. The guitar itself is OK. The wood is kind of soft, and a little bump into the wall gave it a dent in the woodwork. The DVD that came with it will teach you nothing, unless your a total beginner. The cable was kind of short, and the picks are just regular picks. everything else was pretty good. Overall though, this is a great guitar to start out with but not one to use in a performance. |

| I bought this guitar a few weeks ago and it sounds excellent. The quality of guitar you will get with this player pack is worth the price alone. The amp has the capability to rock out the guitar like Hendrix rocked out the National Anthem. Overall this player pack is a great deal and the sound quality is even better. |

| After having realized I was in a mid-life crisis, I decided to learn how to play guitar and ordered this kit. Now, I am living and working overseas, so normally when I order things from the states, it could take up to a month to receive. To my surprise, the whole kit came within 10 days, which is totally awesome. There was one problem, however, and I do not blame the company one bit. The box had to go through customs and as usual, they made a meal out of the box and scratched up the guitar in certain spots. They look like they can be buffed out, but still, I was a little disappointed by it. So, heed this warning, if you live overseas, have a military address outside the U.S., be wary of what you might receive as to what you expect. Other than that, this transaction turned out great and can't wait to try it out tonight. |

I received my player pack about a week ago. Everything was included in the pack and "seemed" great. I got the Sunburst pattern and the guitar looks really nice. The amp and the rest of the gear was all good for the price. The problem was that when I tuned the guitar I had to raise the bridge way too much to get rid of some buzzing from the fret bars. Even after that I still got the buzzing when I played vigorously. Also I could feel the edges of the fret bars on the neck which I think means that the wood of the neck had shrunk and probably warped a little (sitting in a warehouse too long maybe). I chose to repair these issues instead of returning the guitar. I like it very much and I doubt that getting another pack at the same price point would get me any more quality. If my experience was not the norm then I would give this pack a 4 or 5.
**UPDATE
The warped neck was unrepairable by the epiphone dealer in my area. They sent it back (warranty) and I got a NEW Epiphone "Dot Studio" as a replacement because it would have been 90 day till they could replace it with a similar model. I really like the "Dot Studio" and it is a nice upgrade. So I got a really nice deal in the end |

| I'm sorry to put my review of the reseller here but Amazon doesn't let you review them directly if they cancel your order. This reseller would have a very poor rating if this was allowed(I've seen these reviews on many other items they sell). They apparently have very little stock contrary to their claims and have to backorder most things. Then, in my case, they canceled my order when their stock arrived(over a month into backorder) and raised the price of the item on Amazon(same day). |
